Carlos Travels is a travel blog written by Carlos Hernandez about his travel ambitions and travel stories. Carlos Hernandez is an International Business student with a focus in Asia at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Carlos has been learning Japanese since 2004 and started learning Korean in 2010. Carlos studied abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea during the Fall of 2011 and plans to head to Japan in the summer of 2012 for a Japanese language program to help him in his dream of being fluent in Japanese.

Carlos also writes the food blog Carlos Eats and has been writing about food in the Tampa Bay area and beyond since April 2010.

    I was looking for other exchange student who are planing to go to Yonsei in fall 2011 and found your website. It is really nice to read what you write and wat you are interesting about.

    I plan to go to yonsei in fall 2011 as well. I ve sent my application to korea last week and now i am waiting for an answer. What far are you wih your application ? I heard it is possible to apply for a room at the beginning in mai, but i dont know if i should do it without knowing if i am really accepted.

    Would like to hear your story about your study exchange plans!

    • Hey Jan,

      I have sent my application in as well. I don’t recommend applying for housing until you hear back from the school, that is what my study abroad office has advised for me.

    I was just researching on the net about Yonsei and happen to find your website. I’m actually going to study at Yonsei this fall semester as an exchange student, so its great to know other people going through the same things as myself.
